Weyland Ventures was co-developer and lead designer for the renovation of these 2 historic buildings in downtown Louisville, across from the KFC Yum! Center. This mixed-use development includes 4 restaurants, 35 live-work and office configurations, corporate entertainment suites, unique apartments, and special event spaces.

This project takes advantage of natural lighting, efficient heating, cooling and ventilation systems, and is maximizing the reuse and recycling of building materials and incorporating many other sustainable design elements. The 100,000 square feet of space offer an interior courtyard, skylights, a beautiful grand staircase, and a front-row seat for Arena access.

The Civil War-era buildings offered many design challenges and found conditions. Weyland Ventures created a development strategy to make the project feasible and has worked closely on creative problem solving for design and construct-ability issues with all consultants throughout the design and renovation processes.
