Ashlyn Ackerman
Head of Design
As Head of Design for Weyland Ventures, Ashlyn Ackerman leads the design team on development projects from conception through construction. As an architect/designer specializing in historic redevelopment and bespoke interiors, she is passionate about community-driven, people-focused design that infuses hospitality into every project type. From boutique hotel renovations in historic buildings to new construction multi-family projects, Ashlyn blends her love of creative problem-solving and challenging convention with real-world budgets and schedules to achieve successful developments.
Originally from Jasper, Indiana, after earning her B.A. and M.Arch at Ball Statue University, an internship brought her to the Louisville area where she fell in love with the city’s vibrant neighborhoods and welcoming atmosphere. She resides in the Highlands with her husband and two dogs.
