Design Strategist for Weyland Ventures, Eric Whitmore, is a multifaceted creative professional with a passion for making unforgettable environments and experiences. He has 20 years working in every stage of the intricate and multifaceted design process – from research, concept development and visioning through detailing and construction. Eric’s vision and talent is on display throughout Weyland’s extensive development portfolio, including his bespoke designs for each of the hotels in the Common Bond Hotel Collection. Eric is a licensed architect and holds a professional degree from the University of Kentucky and has served as President of the AIA Central Kentucky Chapter. Eric is a creative enthusiast and is always looking for the next adventure to share with his family and friends. When not on site or in the office, he can be found on wilderness trail hikes and patronizing local restaurants in his endless search for Louisville’s next best dish.
