Jessica McCarron
Historic Project Manager
Historic Project Manager, Jessica McCarron, is an architectural historian who supports the adaptive reuse and preservation projects of Weyland Ventures with archival research, writing, photography, and coordination for historic tax credit applications, National Register nominations, and other projects.
Born and raised in Louisville, Jessica holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Dayton and worked for almost ten years as an environmental engineer in both land and air protection for the Department of Natural Resources in Atlanta. Feeling a pull towards historic resources, she earned a Master’s degree in Heritage Preservation (MHP) at Georgia State University. After that, she devoted nearly eight years to research, coordination, and social media marketing for preservation and real estate nonprofits in both Atlanta and Louisville. Jessica joined Weyland Ventures in 2022.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys reading, crafting, genealogy, and going on adventures with her husband, Kevin, and their two teenagers. She also loves a good research rabbit hole!
