Kent Weyland
Investor Manager
A Louisville native, Kent Weyland serves as Investor Relations Manager for Weyland Ventures, where he leads engagement with the firm’s financial partners and cultivates long-term investor relationships. With nearly two decades of experience in real estate and as a licensed Realtor, Kent brings a multidisciplinary perspective shaped by his background in education, public health, and urban planning. He is particularly passionate about Weyland Ventures’ mission to create thoughtfully designed developments that foster vibrant, healthy urban communities.
Kent is a graduate of Trinity High School and earned degrees in Biology and Religious Studies from Washington University in St. Louis. He went on to receive a Master of Education through the University of Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education program, teaching full-time in Dallas, Texas. After returning to Louisville in 2007, he earned a Master of Public Health from the University of Louisville while beginning his career with Weyland Ventures.
In addition to his work in real estate, Kent has owned and operated Glassworks Fitness, a boutique fitness center, since 2014.
Kent and his wife, Meghan—a Minnesota native and University of Notre Dame graduate—live in the Highlands with their four children.
